Roles

  • For website enquiries, the business acts as the controller of the contact data it receives.
  • For customer messaging data handled on behalf of a client, the client is generally the controller and the business acts as a processor or service provider.
  • The exact role may depend on contract terms and applicable law.

Processing purposes

  • Sending requested notifications, campaigns, reminders, and support messages.
  • Generating analytics, dashboards, and audit trails for business users.
  • Maintaining logs for security, troubleshooting, compliance, and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors

  • The service may use cloud hosting, messaging APIs, analytics tools, and support tools from trusted providers.
  • Providers should be selected with reasonable diligence and used only for the purpose needed to run the platform.
